Havurat Tikvah continuously strives to learn and grow. In that spirit, we hope new members and old will explore our newly revitalized religious school, under the leadership of Reuven Green.
For us, Judaism is more than a religion. It is a civilization encompassing history and literature, art and music, land and language,as well as spirituality and ritual.
We seek a Judaism that promotes innovation that is deeply rooted in Jewish tradition, while reflecting the understandings and spiritual yearnings of contemporary Jews.

Religious School Topics will include:
     Jewish holidays
     Jewish history
     Hebrew
     Reconstructionist perspectives
     Kashrut laws
     Current Israeli affairs

The school year will also include 2 to 3 organized field trips connected to the curriculum and several family-oriented events.
The Havurah is fully committed to making sure our children are fully prepared for their lives as Jews within our community. We will also continue to offer additional tutoring to students as they prepare for their B’nai Mitzvah.
