	Havurat Tikvah is the Reconstructionist Congregation of Charlotte, N.C. We are a diverse group of families, singles, Jewish and interfaith couples, children and adults who study, share joys and sorrows, celebrate Shabbat and the holidays together and participate in projects that promote social justice. 	Hebrew School We have a new and revamped Sunday School program. Click here if you would like more information. Our school is led by Reuven Green, a veteran Jewish educator in Charlotte.
	Events We schedule a variety of regular gatherings including monthly Shabbat services, Havdalah, Rosh Hodesh, Adult Study, plus holidays and life cycle special events. Holidays are celebrated with religious observances and some with “plays” written, produced, directed, and acted in by our members. Children of all ages are welcome at all events, unless specified. School-age members may participate in our cooperative Hebrew school.
	Our Home The Havurah now leases space at Saint Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 2201 Springdale Avenue in Dilworth. The Havurah supplies paper goods and beverages for events, while members bring a covered dish or dessert. Out of respect for members of the group who keep kosher, we prepare dairy/vegetarian dishes.
	Havurat Tikvah is constantly evolving, and eager for new members and new ideas. We pride ourselves in creating a warm and interesting community of people committed to sharing, learning, and supporting each other.
